JEC World 2025 once again brought together the key players in the composites industry, confirming its importance as a key event for innovation and international collaboration. Polymeris was present in two pavilions, alongside Techtera and the IDEALISTE project consortium, and accompanied eight of its members throughout the show.

Rich and dynamic exchanges

The show was punctuated by numerous meetings, notably during networking cocktails organized with members and European partners. These events provided an opportunity to forge links, exchange ideas on projects and open the door to new collaborations. Members and project partners were given the opportunity to present themselves and identify possible synergies.

A look back at the Idealist project's first networking event: the Hack&Match on advanced materials.

On February 13 and 14, the European Idealist project organized its first networking event, called the Hack&Match, aimed at players from the European Union facing challenges in advanced materials. Over the course of 2 online days, some twenty companies worked together to find 15 matches between the players in difficulty and the solution providers present.

CIRCPLASTX (Circularity Data Space for the plastics industry) was launched on March 4 and 5 at IPC in Oyonnax. The project aims to create a data space for the plastics industry to promote circularity by sharing information across the value chain. In response to growing pressure to use more recycled materials and offer greater product transparency, this project seeks to facilitate traceability and connect different players (suppliers, recyclers, NGOs, regulatory bodies). It aims to help SMEs and other players by offering a secure, one-stop shop for exchanging data on products, materials and manufacturing processes. CIRCPLASTX will develop three main services: “Material as a service” for recycled plastics, data quality for substances and LCA data assessment. This project is essential for achieving the environmental objectives of the Green Deal and industrial digitization, contributing to competitiveness and innovation in the plastics sector.
