On December 12, 2023, Polymeris organized its annual Scientific Day on the theme of Aging and Sustainability. Each year, the Scientific Day deals with a key topic in the cluster's Technology Roadmap drawn up by the Scientific Council.

Just over fifty participants came together to discuss the topic from a number of different angles: the stresses placed on materials over time, materials recycling and, finally, the characterization of materials and aging.

Today marks a significant milestone for the Polymeris competitiveness cluster for rubber, plastics and composites, with the inauguration of its new premises in the Agreen Lab'O Village de CA in Orléans. This expansion is accompanied by a strengthening of the team dedicated to the region, illustrating our commitment to our members and the region's industrial and academic players.

Back to: the meeting of the MATEX Industrial Club

On March 21, the 7th meeting of the MATEX Industrial Club took place, organized by the co-hosts, Martin Depardieu DWS, Catherine Bessada, CNRS, Martin Pajot Polymeris and Maéva Lemée and Natacha Olivier Technopole d'Orléans.
 
In the morning, we visited the Atelier Loire Chartres. During this visit we could discover the work of the master glassworkers in particular for the design and the restoration of stained glasses. You will find on their website a range of their most beautiful and great projects,

On July 19th, Polymeris organized a webinar in collaboration with the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region and BPI France on the France 2030 plan. If you were unable to attend, we offer you a summary below. The replay of this webinar is also available to all our members on our platform MyPolymeris.
 
Following the commitments of PIA 4, France 2030, with a budget of 54 billion euros, was initiated in 2021 by the President of the Republic. Its objectives are to help decarbonization and the emergence of new players.

POLYTRONICS, winner of the EDIH call for projects

A project to support the digitalization of polymer materials companies

POLYTRONICS is the winner of the "Initial Network of European Digital Innovation Hubs" (EDIH) call for projects launched by the European Commission to support the digitalization of polymer materials companies

Supported by the Polymeris cluster, POLYTRONICS is one of the 10 French EDIHs selected and funded by the European Commission as part of the "Digital Europe" program. This program aims to strengthen the adoption of digital technologies by companies and to build an ethical and sustainable European vision of the deployment of digital solutions for businesses (Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity and high performance computing).

The 18 members of the consortium mobilized for the construction of the POLYTRONICS application, as well as the associated partners, are delighted with this announcement which marks the starting point of a new stage in the deployment of the digital roadmap in three regions: Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Bourgogne-Franche Comté, Centre-Val de Loire.
