Since 2010, France's competitiveness clusters have been helping innovative companies strengthen their equity capital through a national label, the Entreprise Innovante des Pôles (EIP) label. In 2021, the French Competitiveness Clusters, within the Association Française des Pôles de Compétitivité, have decided to give a new impetus and strengthen their support for the search for private financing for the growth and internationalization of startups and innovative companies. This national labeling process enhances the scientific base and market potential of innovations developed in France, drawing on the combined expertise of technological and market experts from the public and private sectors.
Facilitating access to investors is the ambition of this label, renamed “hi France”.

THE 8 IMPACT
THE 8 IMPACT is the first deeptech company dedicated to the transformation of elastomers from used sports and leisure articles, such as sneakers, tennis balls, climbing shoes, etc. They transform materials such as rubber or EVA into recycled material that can be substituted for new material. Thanks to our sports goods disassembly line, we can isolate the materials from each other and achieve purity levels close to 100% - the materials can then be recycled with high added value and generate high impact savings by replacing new materials. THE 8 IMPACT has set up its first plant in Saint-Rémy, in the Ain region. Its R&D laboratory is in Douai in the Hauts de France region.
