STUDY OF THE COSMETICS INDUSTRY

 

The CosmeBooste project consortium has carried out a study of the public and private players in the cosmetics industry in the Rhône-Alpes-Auvergne region.

From packaging and aromatic ingredient producers, to functional inputs, analysis laboratories and finished products....

This investigation has enabled us to highlight the specific characteristics of the region and the main challenges facing companies:

• France's 1st industrial region, in terms of number of jobs
• Strong representation of the packaging industry, with all players in the value chain present in the AURA region (materials suppliers, compounders, converters, recyclers).
• Public/private cluster of expertise in dermocosmetics, cutaneous biology and tissue engineering
• 2nd agricultural region for the production of perfume, aromatic and medicinal plants (PPAM)
