Polymers and the circular economy in healthcare
Thursday, June 26, 2025 - Maison de l'Environnement et des Territoires, Paris-Orly

As part of our drive to develop sustainable solutions for the healthcare sector, we are organizing a day dedicated to the circular economy in healthcare on June 26 at Paris-Orly. This event aims to bring together players in the healthcare value chain to reflect together on the challenges of recycling, reuse, eco-design and innovation for medical devices and packaging.

Why take part?

  • Contribute to the emergence of concrete projects involving materials in the healthcare sector
  • Exchange with experts and professionals involved in these issues
  • Identify challenges and co-construct innovative solutions

POLYMERIS, in partnership with Grand Orly Seine Bièvre, Matériaupôle, Medicen and the CCI Val-de-Marne, is organizing this day to highlight innovative initiatives and projects aimed at structuring a circular healthcare sector, articulated around three fundamental axes:

  • Eco-design of devices and materials
  • Uses and practices in healthcare establishments
  • Recycling, recovery and circular models

Highlights of the day included:

  • Presentation of the EVAPLUS study on the recovery of healthcare waste
  • Feedback on closed-loop 3D printing projects in hospitals
  • Sharing of eco-design initiatives to improve end-of-life products
